Nick Vasey - Commercial History & Professional Experience - Summarised

Nick has extensive commercial experience in a range of corporate, sales, finance, real-estate, marketing and hospitality environments.

As a result of his passion for international travel, he has visited around fifty countries to date, and been exposed to a wide variety of professional work environments since graduating from Murdoch University with a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in 1989 (Accounting, Marketing & Law).

His ability to adapt both personally and professionally to ever-changing circumstances has resulted in his having evolved a diversity, depth and quality of professional skill-sets which would be uncommon in most people.

Nick is predominantly a 'people-person,' with a singular talent for being able to establish an easy rapport with people from any demographic within the social or professional spectrum. One of his foremost assets, these interpersonal skills are a cornerstone of the success of any projects or collaborations he undertakes.

As a result of his cosmopolitan personal and professional background, Nick has highly developed skills in or knowledge of:

Sales           Marketing (Macro & Direct)            Public Relations             Relationship Building                  Presentations

Nick's career-path to date is certainly unorthodox! This life-journey has resulted in his diverse range of abilities, insight and experience. It is Nick's firm belief that significant exposure to different cultures, countries and peoples is an unparalleled educator, enriching and broadening an individual's outlook and skill-set both personally and professionally.

Vilcabamba Real Estate Company - Since having relocated to Vilcabamba Ecuador in 2008, Nick's primary endeavour until recently, was the Vilcabamba Real Estate Company (VREC Properties). VREC was an ethical, professional, fee-transparent, and user-friendly real-estate company, primarily dedicated to helping other folks who were looking for alternatives to 'first-world' life, find and develop their own piece of paradise in the mountains around Vilcabamba. As the only licensed realtor in the region, VREC literally redefined how real-estate business was transacted, and turned a blow-torch onto what had been until then, a 'Wild-West' of rogue operators and real-estate scammers. It was certainly one of the proudest professional periods of Nick's life, during which time an enormous number of people in the region were helped.

CasaLista - As of 2016 however, Nick and his longtime business-partner Santiago Rodriguez (along with Santiago's grandfather, Roberto), have launched their new company CasaLista , which produces state-of-the-art prefabricated modular homes/accommodation. CasaLista's modular housing can be used advantageously by many people in vastly differing environments, in an almost unlimited number of ways. The rapidity with which these units can be put in place, and the relative ease with which they can be folded up again and transported elsewhere, make them about as cost-effective and versatile a solution as can be imagined. CasaLista will first be servicing personal, commercial and government markets throughout Ecuador, but fully expects to be a market-leader in both Peru and Colombia in the not too distant future. CasaLista's modular housing really is that good!
