In June 2023, Nick was again interviewed by Joe Schram of JoLi Farms ... this time in respect of an initiative to improve law and order in the southern Sierran region of Vilcabamba, and Loja more generally. This initiative involved the writing and hand-delivery of a collaborative community letter to the president of Ecuador, Guillermo Lasso ... which had received over 200 signatures of local residents and nearly all of Vilcabamba's central businesses in just a few days.
